IMPORTANT Tool to test your website.

Over the last two days we noticed a dip in our website traffic and wondered why – holidays? time of year? weather? who knew!

Then I realised the padlock had disappeared when I looked at my browser, which assures people that we hold a security certificate and that all content on our website is safe. Then a couple of people mentioned to me via email that a warning came up when accessing my website, saying on certain browsers – ‘May contain insecure content’

GASP – obviously I was worried but where would I start trying to identify the culprit/s until my lovely web team told me about http://www.whynopadlock.com which tests your URL and tells you all is safe and secure, which I am pleased to tell you we are after replacing one of our follow buttons – test my URL if you want to see what yours should look like – http://www.thesocialmediaacademy.org and make sure you are not losing web traffic that you deserve.
